    I am new here ( just before xmas). I just want to thank the angel who talked to me that scarey night when I got a call from the police telling me my husband got picked up for a dui. Her words calmed me , let me know that the situation was not caused by me.I only wish I could contact her again to thank her for being there for me it was 1:30 am est . Since then I check in regularly and get my inspiration from my alanon family and attend the meetings when I can. I have yet to go f2f but will eventually.i think your name is breezee - you are a true angel and I wish joy and health to you  and your family this new year. 


   And a great big hug to my new family your support keeps me humble and strong. Things are going o.k. now money will be tight, the worry will be there but at least my husband is not driving drunk.

That's what this "family" is all about!!!!!  If we don't "give away"  what we recieve, than we lose it.  In order to recieve we have to give away what we have and are learning.


So grateful that there was someone there when you needed them.  Please keep coming back!!  We all love you!!!

Welcome to MIP!  I have had the same experience that you said you had...I have met many, many angels here that have helped me cope with situations and have just listened to me when I had to vent.
