hello everyone, havnt been here in long time. but wanted to say happy holidays to everyone and hope all is going well. things have been going pretty good for me and when its not ive been handling it all well. one year ago was the beginning of a big change in me. i speant like three days straight in the chat room here as i chose to spend xmas alone. that was the start of taking care of me and changing my life around. i was with my a at the time but last xmas he went out and drank and used again. i speant xmas alone to prove to  myself im strong with hp by my side and that i could get through anything with his help and of course this group. ty to all of you that chatted with me all hours of the night. ive accomplished alot in the past year and am very thankful to this program for that. ive learned to take care of me and go after the things i want in life. i lost the weight ive been wanting to lose and got promoted at work. ive achieved what i was wanting to do for so long. ive found ways to acheive serenity. im still in contact with my a but arent together.  he is almost two months sober and im very proud of him but dont think i could go back. ive found someone that i love very much....myself. best wishes to all of you and your families through the holidays. count your blessings you will see you have more then you thought. hugs to all of you :)
