I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. This is my last day of work until Jan. 3rd. I'm not sure I will be getting online-I don't have a computer at home and then we will be traveling. I'm going to miss everyone, so I might be able to use my sister's computer, but I'm not sure.
My husband, children and I are headed up to New Jersey for Christmas. This will be the first Christmas w/ my full family in 5 years and I am very excited. He and I both are hoping to make some meetings up north, to meet new people and keep him and I sane while with the family! We are also planning a trip to New York and he is hoping to get in a meeting there--I hope we can find one!! (I know there are plenty, it's just a matter of finding the place!!!)
I hope you all have a good holiday. I know for some of you it will be a very difficult time and I will pray for you. (Good heavens who knows what could happen on our trip, but I am just praying for a smooth and fun time--first sober Christmas since we have been together.)
Merry Christmas and Happy, Peaceful New Year. Travel safely. There are always plenty of meetings at this time of the year. Just check with your local AA chapter when you get there or go online. Enjoy your first sober Christmas! Woohoo!
Love and blessings to you and your family.
Live strong,
Karilynn & Pipers Kitty
