Jewel.....no you do not have to click on the box below to get an email. I just read online here.

If someone wants to pm (private message) you it will show at the top of the topics page when you log on. It will say you have a message.

You are not having trouble making friends here Jewely. We ALL love you. As Gailey said, any private message will show up by your name when you check in. If you want to pm someone, all you have to do is click on their name (in blue), choose "private message", and off you go. Diva
