Just wanted to wish all of you who celebrate Halloween or all Saints Day:
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
May you and your little goblins have an extra fun and safe day. Enjoy your trick or treating. Remember a black kitty is only bad if it's a panther! Who knows you might see our Pipers Kitty lurking about. This is the first year hubby and I will be home to hand out candy. I hope I get a few kids at the door. I'm going for a walk this afternoon to look at the decorations. It's calling for rain later on, but that won't stop us from enjoying the day.
Remember life is short, take the time to get out there and have some fun! We all deserve it! May the Great Pumpkin be extra good to all of you.
Love and blessings to all of you and your family.
Live strong,
Karilynn, Hubby & Pipers Kitty

Happy Halloween everyone - not sure if we're handing out candy or not. This is the 1st year our son 14 hasnt gone out. Husband did buy lots of candy though so if he's not at work we're handing out (he took it to work w/him so we wouldnt eat it!)
We moved to this house the summer of 2005, and for our first Halloween we had over 200 trick-or-treaters! Had to make two extra candy runs to the local store during all of it, LOL! In the past, we only had maybe 10 at the most, so we had no idea what to expect. We are gonna be ready this year, though!!
thank you for the reminder. The holidays are hard for me. I will be tucked up in bed because I will have done two shifts but I hope not to be too exhausted. Maresie.
Halloween use to be one of my favorite holidays - I would always dress up with the kids - All the kids love Nannie Rita to go Trick or Treating with them. My favorite costume was when my oldest granddaughter, Lexi & I dressed up as LSU Cheerleaders.
This year, I don't think I'm going to our extended family party. Just not in the spirit - None of my 5 grandchildren will be there this year. That just adds to my sadness today.
I think my efforts would be much better spent supporting a new meeting in our area that has it's first meeting tonight. Yep, I just re-read this post - I definitely need a meeting. Enough of that weepy crap (I hate being in this mood)
So after the meeting, I shall join Linus in the pumpkin patch awaiting the "Great Pumpkin" Hope that you do better at trick or treating than Charlie Brown did!! ()
See ya,
Rita
