Grateful

Just wanted to take a minute and speak to the positive side of recovery.

At 37 days sober, my daughter is saying please and thank you, asking about family members, telling me to drive carefully in bad weather, hugging and holding hands with her dad and I, taking NO for an answer, sharing her feelings.

It's so important to appreciate the little things. I worry about relapse, but for now, I'll count the blessings.

Everyone - take a minute and see it if you have it. If you don't, remind your A how much you miss their friendship and care.

Take care - K

That is so awesome!! I am so excited for your daughter & so proud for you that you can notice those changes in her.  Those are wonderful things to experience.  There is always hope that some day we, too will experience those again with our daughter.

Know that prayers are being said for you and her,

Rita
