Well, you're right, nothing you can do. Sounds like you did the big thing, made an overture - if he doesn't want to take you up on it, you have nothing to reproach yourself with. One of the "things we cannot change" is other people's response to us. We are only reponsible for OUR end o f the exchange, not theirs. I seem to need to be reminded of this on a regular basis....
Very true - I admire your courage to make amends! What a great thing to do for yourself. And so true - we can only try to our part as best we can. Great job!
