Just wanted to wish all my Canadian family a happy Thanksgiving this weekend!!!!
I was sitting here on my pity pot feeling sorry for myself, thinking I really don't have anything to be thankful for. Then the reminder of Thanksgiving struck me. I have a ton of things to be thankful for. I sat down and started writing a graditude list and the good out weighed the bad by a huge margin. Sure I could sit and feel sorry for myself that I have to have back surgery but I'm thankful that I have one of the best surgeons in the city. I could also be negative about living with an active AH but, if I didn't have him in my life I wouldn't have found my wonderful family here. The most important thing I have is a new found relationship with my HP Thanks to this wonderful program and all the people in it my life has completely changed for the better. So if things look bad to you and you feel like everything is not going your way, just sit down and think what you have to be thankful for. I did and it worked
Congratulations on looking on the positive side of things. You are such an inspiration to me......in the face of adversity, you always are cheerful and thankful. Thanks for the reminder to make a graditude list when we are feeling ungrateful. I'm praying you will have the surgery soon and can be relieved of the pain you are in, Shadow.
You told me last week, I had pulled myself up again, really quick after a shitty (sorry) day.
You got what I got, so get back to the gutsy lady i know and love okay.
Easy does it, we all jump on the pity pot every so often, we just need someone to come along and boot us of it. So, here's the boot shads(lol) from your friends.
Happy thanksgiving everyone, (have heard of it lol)
You sound much better! Way to get rid of that stinkin' thinkin'.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL THE CANADIANS OUT THERE!
It sounded like Thanksgiving here this afternoon. Hubby was practicing his turkey calling! Alas no turkeys came to the door, but it did get the crows started (mortal enemies) and Pipers Kitty was a bit bumfuzzled! What a riot!
You made me think,,,,,,,,,,,you made me realize that there are lots of things to be thankful for.....I hope you dont mind me using your name to post my post. You inspired me to be in a different frame of mind ,,,,,,just for today! ( and hopefully tomorrow as well),,,,Take care of yourself,,,,,,,,,,,,,your neighbouring canuck.
