asking for prayers for son, once again....

((((((friends))))))

My son's court date is coming up soon.......one week from today, Oct. 3.  It is a sentencing hearing, as a lot of you know.  I am once again asking those of you who want to, to join me as I pray for him to have the best outcome possible.  He is working his program and doing well.  He has been clean for over 18 months now.  He is proud of the work he is doing and so are his dad and I.  I do know that HP (whom I call God), is in control and I'm holding on to the faith that comes with knowing that.  Thank you in advance, dear friends, for praying and for caring about what happens to my son and to me as I walk through my journey of recovery.

Love you all, Lexie

I have known people that have gone to jail in recovery. They say it was the best thing God could have done for them. They were sober and all at the time, and they spent time in prison for a crime they committed in disease. They said that it allowed them time to work the steps, read the big book, and focus on their sobriety. There are meetings in the jail, too.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
