Today is a very sad day for my family and me. It is the one-year anniversary of my young brother in law’s death. He was a 28-year-old motorcycle instructor that had a passion for motorcycles. When I met him, he was only 7 year old and I watched him grow up to be an outstanding young man that loved life. He looked to my hubby and me for guidance and even lived with us at one time. He was like one of my own. We took him on vacation to see the mountains for the first time on his 9th birthday and that is where he developed his passion for the outdoors and wildlife. I miss him so much but I know that he is in a better place with Hp (whom I call God) and knowing that he passed riding his motorcycle doing something he loved to do is a small comfort.
My prayers and my heart are with you today. I am so sorry for your loss of such a young wonderful man.
Try to seek comfort in the fact that you spent much time with him and did some great things with him in his life, and he learned some wonderful lessons from you. It is so sad that sometimes lives are senselessly short. Know he is with God and he is at peace now.
Am very sorry to hear this. Am glad to know that you are able to find some measure of comfort in your loss, though. You are right, am sure he is in a better place.
shadow, i am so sorry for your loss and your sad day. i understand what it's like to lose a brother (bil too) suddenly and tragically. I like what abbyal suggested and this is what I plan to do before our one year anniv of bro's death coming up in December. I share your grief.
My love and blessings to you and your family. Don't forget to honor this remarkarble young man by living life in joy not sadness. I planted trees in honor of my Mom and Dad on their 1 year anniversary of their passings. A reminder that they still are in my hearts.
Live strong, Karilynn

((()) Shadow be comforted in the fact that your brother-in-law now has Steve Irwin up there with him to go motorbike riding with and indulge their mutual passion of wildlife. Would love to be a fly on the wall when they are together. Only the good die young. LUv Leo xx
