I just wanted to keep y'all posted. I am loathe to admit it, but yes...you were right. God showed up on time. In style. And every detail was attended too.
I went to the Woman's Center today and talked to them some more about the situation. The conversation consisted of the following: 1) I told mom about Dad's night time stalking; she became upset, then blamed me (She emailed me, today and asked "Why don't you ask your dad why he comes in your room? Why he was watching you sleep?"); 2) Mom nor Dad are going to pay $18/day for me to stay on campus for whatever reason because "They're all tapped out"; 3) For right now, I'm staying with program friends, and, in keeping with the 7th tradition, am working something out in the name of being self supporting.
The Provost of Student Life and I had a long talk later this afternoon.
Based on our conversations the past two days and the details I gave to the provost, any fees haved been waived and I have been invited to live in the multi-student apartments until I can move into my private on campus apartment 8/25.
I haven't figured out how to tell dad. But I am taking the university up on their offer.
Talk about God doing for me what I cannot do for myself. Thanks, y'all.
You are courageous and brilliant. Congratulations on your strength and honesty. I am so glad you are with friends and soon will have your own place.
I am envious of your problem solving and other good qualities, but will try to use it as inspiration. Is there a way to get your stuff and move out and then tell your parents?

Keep HP and alanon close and keep doing what you're doing with the help in getting your own place.I am so thankful that help is out there.

Thank you for posting. I have been in Uk helping out with my first Grandbaby(a gorgeous boy) and managed to read a few posts in between feeds and housework etc. and saw your last post and was really worried.
