This is a flyer that we give out at my home group, New Beginnings, in Lake Charles, LA - I keep it taped on my mirror in my dressing area to remind me every morning about the Promises of working this program. Hope it helps you as much as it helps me.

Thank you for posting the Al-Anon promises. I asked at a meeting last night if there were any Al-Anon promises. We looked all over in our literature for something, but nothing.... And here you are today with the answer. How did you know we were looking? hee hee hee
This is Soooo Totally wonderful ~ I DO remember it too.... & to see after so much time has passed,.... I just had to write to say that I needed it this morning (most of all) ~ It realy is funny how HP puts those special kinds of things before us -(in front of us) Yep~ HP/God knows when the time is right.,when its TIME FOR IT TO BE SEEN or TO BE DONE.(((RITA))) I'm going to copy it to put on my fridge too!! Lana officially Al-Anon does not have promises . but in the adult childrens book from Survival to Recovery they come pretty close which is where I think this post might have come from .
I call them promises too and are the reason I kept commin back to this prog I wanted it all . and suprisingly I have found them to be true . Louise
Okay, so I am kinda bummed that Al-Anon doesn’t have their own promises, but I think the AA promises are about working the steps (and we do that therefore, they are our promises too). And I’m still grateful that I didn’t have to spend weeks searching for something that’s not there.
