I feel a little strange asking for prayers but i could really use some. My husband had a stroke seven years ago. He became disable and that lead to a drinking problem. Six years of hell for me. He is sober now and things are going better. We set up an appt with a marriage consler for this friday. There is alot I need to get off my chest to be able to move on in this marriage. I'm a little scared. I want so badly for it to go well. We are also going to court(trail) this monday may 8th against the doctor that mistreated him and cause the stroke. I'm scared. I know in my heart were right but am scared they will not see it the way i do. I have never been on the stand before and I am scared the other lawer will be mean to me. So i'm asking for a little prayer to get me though the next couple of days.
Nikkilou I too had a stroke 7 years ago, so I know what you guys have went through. No known cause for mine, so just got busy living. Hope all goes well for you. Telling the truth makes things a whole lot easier on the stand. May your HP be at your side holding your hand.

You have all the prayers and best wished coming your way. I hope court goes well, and the doctor will own up to his responsibility. I'm glad that your hubby has found recovery, and pray that it continues. Try not to be scared and invite trouble as my grandma use to tell me. Easier said than done, I know. But remember ODAT. You and hubby will get through this. You both survived his stroke and first year of recovery and that speaks volumes about your marriage. The fact that you both seek counceling is also a sign of hope.

(((())) The 8th is my brother's birthday so it will remind me that you need my prayers. The day is very significant for you in many ways and you will get through it.
