Gratitude Thursday

Today I am grateful my yard is nice and manicured by my yard man as I am under the seniors yard care program where the city pays for my yard to get taken care of every other week

I am grateful that my needs are met

grateful that my health is good

Grateful that I have the discipline to keep putting out good energy and working my program

Good morning Rose. It was suggested to me that gratitude is good practice for fostering a positive mindset. I have shared elsewhere that my mindset has slipped into judgement and criticism. As I write this it also occurs to me that this takes away the focus from myself and my hoop and into the hoop of another.
I'm grateful for my able body.
I'm grateful for reaching my age.
I'm grateful for the abundance that has manifested in my life today and also grateful that I am not deeply attached to material things I possess.
I am able to be detached because I have a lot of evidence in my life that what I want physically, I achieve with faith and work.
There is no need for me to worry excessively about progressing because I am always taken care of.
I am grateful for the hand of a power higher than myself lovingly in my life today and every day.
I am grateful for my own competence.
Grateful for my sobriety.

Have a beautiful day MIP

Rose, thank you for the gratitude list and I hear you. Yay, there are things about being a senior that I can be grateful for! Grateful for health, abundance, and friends.

I'm loving this exercise. Goes well with "Just for Tonight" that was shared last week. I am grateful my region hasn't suffered catastrophic weather events and wildfires like many parts of the world. It is heartwrenching. On a lighter note, I am grateful I found 2 pairs of understated workout pants that fit me and my budget within minutes of entering the store! Going to the Y in the morning and I feel like a kid going back to school. I have missed the camaraderie of staff and gym members.
