Stiiiilll learning...

aww Worked last week on a project over on the coast.

and had a happy weekend with my SO and pooch. A long holiday weekend for us.

We had a domestic which lasted about 40 mins. This was a record for shortness.

In the day these used to go on the weeks and months.

Did a whole heap of washing last night. There is rain forecast for today. We dry clothes outside and wanted to get in first.

There is a special item there- which I plan to iron and fold this morning.

I like bigger hankies- but this one is a small one.

At my last F2F meeting I did have a bit of a weep. A "coming home" kind of weep- more in gratitude than grief.

And the other older member handed my a nicely folded handkerchief.

This may have been a breach of the no-crosstalk guidelines, but I accepted it graciously.

This is where i wanted to be in 2021. Focussing mainly in my own needs and emotions.

Being able to demonstrate the qualities of Alanon in action.

I can't actually say that I bounce off this MIP Alanon forum.

It runs much much deeper than this! It has been pivotal, essential for me.

                               aww Thanks so much!

David, like your title "Stiiilll Learnng" cause I am still learning as well!!

Been having very good week-ends these past few months, found that when I do

not respond to the baited questions and statements that there are far fewer

domestics, just love the peace. Was thinking how I would love to have a

outdoor clothes line, but we lost the only big tree we had in the yard this

past summer (hurricane), the only alternative would be one of those free

standing clothes line pole type things, but do not want to ask to have one

put up, not important.

Glad you had a great week-end and f2f meeting.

Thanks for sharing!!

{{{David}}}. Loved your share about receiving the hankie. I see it as a peace, comfort, and acceptance offering. And you were willing to take it. Many program people are just so darn nice....
