Thank you...

Hi everyone,

Thank you all so much for your responses to my post below "trying not to worry."  They made me cry and think a lot (especially about trying to control things), and indeed this is something I need to give over to HP.  I went and said goodbye to the dog today, and she was put down this afternoon.  I told my Dad how sorry I was and that I love him.  I can only pray now that he'll find strength in his program and that the poor dog will be at peace.  Thanks again.

Hi nal, thank you for the update. I'm glad you were able to say goodbye to your Dads dog and that she could pass peacefully with no unnecessary suffering. I hope, if there's an afterlife, she's gamboling about in green pastures free from the ravages of old age and her physical life. You can share your Dads memories and maybe talking about the good times will help ease his sadness. I'm sure your Dad knows you love him and are there for him. I'm glad our responses helped you to recognise that as you released the dog to God/HP so you can you're Dad. Trust in his HP and program and turn to yours to help ease your worry and concerns. Grieving is a process and takes time, be gentle with yourself and compassionate to your Dad.

In love and support,

x  Maria  x
