Hi all,


I mentioned in the chat room about the lesion on my right inside lower eyelid, how the doc thinks it may be skin cancer, and that I would like prayers that it won't be cancer.  I am posting it on the board here, because I believe in the power of prayer, that God can heal anything, if we take it before Him.  Please pray for me that it isn't serious.  If it is, it's so close to my eye, just almost on the rim of the lower lid, that removing it will be risky to my eye. 


I mentioned to the eye dr that my vision in that eye has been kind of blurry over the past few weeks, and if that had anything to do with the lesion.  He's referred me to a specialist, a dermatologist/opthalmic dr, and told me it's possible that the blurring may be related but to ask the specialist.  I can't get in for 2 weeks, so in the meanwhile I'm gonna have to be positive and not worry (hahaha, that's gonna be tough!).


By the way, this is from excessive exposure to the sun, tanning, etc., so if you think it can't happen to you, think again.  I told my daughter this morning about it, since she tans in the tanning bed, and she seemed to get a little nervous about tanning.  I did tan a lot as a teenager (outdoors) - actually I used to burn a lot, since I'm fair skinned and have light eyes.  We used to use baby oil to get that "burned" look.  So please be careful and use sunscreen with a high SPF if you go outdoors.

Hi LMT, I've missed you in chat.   I pray for a quick recovery from your eye problem.  


I had skin cancer near my eye a few years ago, had a wonderful dermatologist who cured it .


Also I have a vision problem in one eye that developed last fall, and have had great care, and the big word has been Hope throughout these ordeals.   


Please keep coming here and letting us know how you're doing.

Will be praying for you immediately....(((lmt123))))) I too used to tan with baby oil.....have not done so for several years, either.  We didn't know back then how bad it was for our skin.


Keep your chin up and trust in your dr. to take care of you, with guidance from God.
