I have been reading a lot of posts here over the last few days with regard to the board and chat room. Some negative some positive. I for one would like to thank John and all the moderators and ops at both sites who give up their own time willingly to provide these services for us. I think at times we forget the committment that these people give to us. You are a lifeline to us all and I for one very much appreciate the sacrifices you make for all of us. I second Leo's motion This site has been invaluable to me in so many ways. I would have been very isolated without it. I have been housebound and misplaced a lot of my literature so appreciate being able to come here and 'touch base'. The dedication of those in service make this possible. I thank you all from the bottom of my very grateful heart and soul.
I third that motion! I am very grateful for the ops here. They do a tremendous job, and the service they provide is unparralled. We are all better for them being here. They keep us safe, provide comfort and support on top of being just good people. They are the angels watching over us:
One word about the chat room: i too have been in the chat room when things have gotten out of hand, but it doesn't occur as much as some people might think. I was in there the other night, and the conversation was light, but when a member came in needing support, we all came together. Please don't give up on the chat room, it is a safe place to be. But also don't forget to PM the OP or one of us who will be more than glad to help.

I don't think many have any idea just how much giving John does. He has his Recovery House and residents that keep him more than busy outside of work. Then there is MIP to keep up and going. Plus he has to find time for his own recovery.
