Yup time to go again tomorrow. Last mammo was 14months ago. I go yearly since my older brother had breast cancer 5yrs ago. Im also having my bloodwork done while in the city. Doc keeps track of both my cholesterol and thyroid. Same brother had heart trouble/heart bypass in 2003. I lost 45lbs, got to goal - where doc told me to stop loosing. Was good for a while with my fat & sodium intake. Been slacking off since loosing the weight - still keep wgt under control though. My thyroid started giving me trouble about a year ago.
I remember a good quote, but don't remember who made it...."I let my doctor worry about all the numbers; weight, good cholesterol, bad cholesterol, blood pressure, triglicerides, etc. That's what I am paying him for!!" But, like you, I try to keep everything in balance. Doing a good job of it so far. Having my own mammogram tomorrow morning. So I wish us both the best of outcomes.
With caring, Diva

Good luck tomorrow! Congratulations on keeping your weight down. For me that is so hard to do! I try for a few weeks or days and then blow it! You keep up the good work!
Keep up the good work. I like Diva's comment, some people do tend to obsess with numbers too much. It sounds like you made some life style changes andthat is what is important.

Thinking of you and Diva getting your boobs squashed. Had mine done a few months ago. All worth it for a few minutes of discomfort. Keep us posted on the results. Congratulations for reaching your goal weight. Luv Leo xx
