The material presented
here is not Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature. It is a method
to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
I tweeted this, having found it through above method - although segments of holy books selected as the content pool, in January. Now I found my way here. Its nice to have a contact point with my higher power; relateable.
I resent that my former post was deleted; is this recovery related then? I can see that in this the mentioning of holy books and naming one may cause issues of some kind.
Lee, as I explained in a PM that your other posts were not alanon related and were deleted. It had nothing to do with the mentioning of holy books. Alanon and this Board are for friends and family of alcoholics (drinking or not).
i see that you post to the ACOA board and as well as the NA board and i do hope you find a fit
We are a group seeking spiritual growth and recovery using suggested Al-Anon tools. We tend to refrain from reference to other religions and their writings simply because we get to seek out a personal HP in recovery.
I did not respond to your previous posts as I was struggling with how to respond. I kind of don't know what to say here either as it's a link that is unknown, perhaps maybe unsafe and references a specific writing to a specific belief.
We do share ESH - Experience, Strength & Hope with each other to heal and deal from the effects of Alcoholism. Hoping this helps!
