Alcoholic husband working again

I haven't been on here in a long time. My AH is working again (out of town), but I think it's helping things. He has no time to get drunk during the week, which is kind of funny for me. He is working ten hours a day. I only see him on weekends, where of course he makes up for his not drinking during the week, but it hasn't been too bad. I think he kind of likes working out of town because every day after work he stops off at the bar and drinks as much as he can before having to go to his friend's house to go to bed, but there is no one (meaning me) around to get mad about him being at the bar every day. My week days are very, very peaceful...

Sounds like you are doing a good job detaching. Take the peace however it comes and enjoy your weekdays.
