Guess my brother asked if he could leave and the judge said yes! My older brother went to my mothers to get something. Noone knows where my younger brother is or where he's going. I told my husband to be on the lookout. Younger brother is still mad so I really dont want him at my house at this time. Will keep everyone updated - thank you
younger brother sent older brother to mothers house to get some personal items for him since there is a warrant if he comes near her again. Younger brother is w/older brother tonight, then will maybe get a hotel room until he finds an apt (and then a job!)
Oh well - cant make someone get help if they arent willing. At least FOR THE TIME BEING he is separated from my mother. Hope it stays that way until some of his anger recedes. Thank you

i make a list...things i THINK i can change...and i go over them w/ my sponser, and i work the 12 steps on them.......than when all is done i give to my HP for the outcome!!!!!! things dont' change if there isn't any change.............rosie
You said it - at least you know he is separated from your mother - and, just for today, you know he is OK.
Also, you are so right - you can not make someone get help if they do not want to seek help. All you can do, is take the best care of you, and keep a check on your mom.

PS Sometimes, the judges/social workers/doctors etc. etc.. should try living with an alcoholic - in my opinion, might make them realise the effect of their decisions.
