I am so proud of my teenage daughter,she has been working at a fast food job for several months She is a hard worker and has been working very late every weekend.Well she got a new manager and she  started having problems at work.This manager not only had her  in tears, but the other young girls as well.She was verbally abusive,she called my daughter a dumb-ass, and was dropping the F bomb.She also hit my daughter on the arm because her sandwiches weren't lined up evenly!When my daughter said something about her hitting her she said she hit a pregnant woman on her last job.She was very rude and critical.Well I called the main number for complaints, and my daughter and I met with the head manager of the company,it took a lot of courage to stand up to this kind of thing,but she was very calm and stated what had happened. I handled it well myself,honestly before this program I would have gone there and lost my temper with this person and probably not have  accomplished  much,but I expressed my concerns to the person in charge.I think it resulted in a good outcome for all the other employees because they posted a message  this morning that said ," Treat employees like they make a difference and they will",and my daughter's name  was mentioned. So a difference was made for a healthier work environment. Even though my daughter decided to leave the job she wanted to make a difference for her friends.
