So very true!! That old ego and it's needs can cause problems when you are trying to find serenity!

Buddha was a wise person.  Buddha was fortunate to learn the lesson. Living in the cold shadow of one's ego makes for a friendless life journey. He had humility and open mindedness which allowed him to be teachable.
