I love the C2C reading for today. It points out that many times, when negative things happen in our lives, we blame God. The member who has written this page shares that her sponsor always reminded her that she had lost track of the fact that her God was a loving God and not a terrorist.. It suggests that the best way to connect with this loving God during difficult times ,is to increase Al-Anon meetings ,reading Al-Anon literature, make an asset and gratitude list and pray quietly. The strength and courage to live life and face the difficulties will be given to us one day at a time .
The reading points out, and I know from experience, that after walking through some painful times , the pain lift's and what is left is additional strength and increased faith in might God
How wonderful is that?
From sponsorship what's it all about: "No one is alone if they come to believe in a power greater than themselves."
To never be alone, to never be judged, to be forgiven all shortcomings and given help to see how we may improve, how we can not earn his love, it is just there.. always.. what more could we hope for..
NO one is ever alone when they have a higher power on our side!
To never be alone, rejected or ignored... an alanon's dream come true and what we can have not matter of our circumstances.
God is not a terrorist! He expects nothing in return, but offers us the opportunity to trust in him and the to live with him as our guide! We never "fall short" in his eyes, he is always there not only willing but wanting to give us more and more opportunities for change and growth, it's unending.. his support, his "second and third..etc chances.. unconditional love and support.
What a gift... what all humans are searching for!

It also helps to pray & seek your HP. I am blessed to know today that God I'd a living God that loves never leaves us or forgets us. We belong inthe safe place where he resides.
I love the Footsteps poem and there is great comfort in thinking of myself in God's hands, or with Him walking beside me.
