Gratitude List for 2014 or Personal Goals for 2015

This was the topic of our meeting last night: For what are you thankful for this past year and/or what do you hope or look forward to for 2015?

I am thankful for:

- Getting to be with my AD on Christmas Day after only seeing her once this whole year. She looked healthy and there was no drama.

- I have started a new job and have been promoted after seven years in a job that  I had grown to despise.

- I will be moving to a larger apartment in a little over two weeks.

- I am finally debt-free and will no longer have to deal with my deceased AH's IRS issues going forward.

- I have made amends with one of my Al-Anon friends, whom I had butted heads with this past year. She is in a good place now and is starting her healing process.

- I became an Al-Anon sponsor for this first time and am learning so much from this experience.

For 2015, I am excited the upcoming arrival of my first granddaughter in February! (that's one of the main reasons for the bigger apartment smile)

Sending all of you ESH in the coming year and encouraging anyone else who would like to also share their list on this post to do so.

That sounds amazing greeneyes especially the grand daughter. I cant wait until Im a granny.

I have got so much to be grateful for this year, I had a lovely peaceful Christmas and hopefully new year will remain calm. My son seems to have found some stability in his life after years of chaos, I have progressed in my program and I can feel a deeper level of change within me. I have been going to the gym since July and have stuck it out, surprising myself. I'm grateful that I took a trip with my daughter. In fact I've got quite a lot to be proud of myself for this year, Im getting to trust myself more and more, such a gift. My hopes are that I can continue to grow and give myself a good life and that my children continue to take responsibility for their own lives. I hope to build a different social life this year. Having spent years with an A meant I isolated myself. The people in my life I feel I have outgrown so I'm going to be proactive and make changes needed.
