hi all, I have shared I am a sucker. Bad at staying all business when it comes to being a landlord.

So again, ad says,"Desperate for pasture for horses." I invite her to bring them over. set an amount and expectations.

omg one of the rescues is a houdini horse. shilo. I called him Bozo as I swear he is a circus horse wanna be. That guy could get out of anything. I call the gal, text the gal, she is NOT getting how dangerous this is. Even though he is as gentle as a kitten, I cannot have an 860 pound animal on the road and free in the pastures!

I am losing it trying to keep him in, climbs jumps pushes....put him on a rope and watched him. He manages to tangle up, fall in the ditch and cannot get up. I had to hook him to my  4x4 and pull him out! big dummy. sheesh.

finally she agrees to do an electric fence ME Putting it up. I gave her less rent and was feeding etc every day as he lives an hour plus away. I would have loved it but, she brought no food. didn't pay...

lie after lie.

My stress is beyond good. can't sleep. wake up there is horse running in the unfenced pasture next door. He actually comes to the gate to get back in. This gate he has NEVER seen or used before.now how did he know??? circus horse.

finally she sends me an email how I am into this too personally. what?????? omg she says she wants it like a business. OK alrighty then.

I write her a business letter with dates and expectations, charge her a late fee with no emotion. can come on property with permission only. She calls the sheriff lying I won't let her have her horses. omg.

I know the dep,  cory is a friend of mine. sigh. He saw my letter roles his eyes.  So I say ok she owes this amount and is very welcome to get her horses.

He stays, she pays me. I have to walk up and get the horses. won't let them on my property cuz Augie my big pig does not like her and knows somehow she is the reason I am exhausted and crying a lot. Glory my horse doesn't like her either.

She honestly looks like a big church mouse. (rat) I cannot believe the lies..said I gave her grain to my horses. huh? she never brought grain.

anyway so she wanted business I obliged and the horses were gone, I got my money in 3 hours.

I felt nothing toward her, I felt proud of me. I gave my all for the horses to keep them safe.

I honestly am not into renting out anymore. I don't care how much we have to struggle,no more. Just cannot trust very man people out there in the world. Just am done with it.

Not surprised. After being around A, truth sure was hard to accept. I wanted to find redeeming qualities in everyone. Just does not always happen.

Got a back bone  now, seems funny when now at my age it is always a back ache...

She has asset or two. She picked your place to pasture her horse and she was willing to try her hand at negotiating more bang for her buck. :^ )

All joking aside - you got to where I went after renting: There's got to be a better way. Hoping the better way shows up for you soon. I know extra income is important for you. (((D)))

WOW, (((((((((((((Deb))))))))))))  you are such a good soul and i know ya need the extra income.....sure hope someone other than this chick who is about 3 cans short of a six pack will want to rent from a lady who is so responsible to the critters......

so sorry, my friend...People are a drag.....and yea, don't ya just hate those FGO's???   (freakin growth opportunities)

augie and glory , give then a hug for me for seeing this witch for what she was, LOL....love animals judgement of people...if my pets don't warm to a person?? I back off...yea, they are pit bulls, but they do accept the good folks....i haven't had anyone bad come IN my house but on my porch?? had a couple of "doubtfuls" knock on my door for one reason or the other and pitties want to go through the door to eat them.........yea, animals know!!!!!  hugs

So sorry Deb It is obvious that you cared deeply for this "Circus" horse even though he was such trouble. What a beautiful heart you have my friend!!

The visual of you pulling that horse up is priceless.  I applaud that sweet horses attempts to get escape it's owner.
