That Skype interview was interesting. Not sure what to think about this company. I do know that at the end, I talked salary a bit and they offered me 5k more than I make, but to switch jobs at this point, I was like "Nope. Gonna take 10k more than I make for me to think about it and 15k to take it." I know it's tacky to talk about money, but this does apply some to program. I never NEVER asked for more than I was offered prior to program. I took what was offered and figured that must be what I was worth.
One of my favorite things about my program is how it has so positively helped me with my career. With what you do it is likely that there is quite a bit of job hopping in your field.
I have a friend who is over the health and wellness of a large corporation. She has moved jobs regularly, because companies recruit her from other companies.
It's not tacky to talk about money, it's your career and it's a job interview. It's tacky to talk about money on a first date. You had been in talks with these people and you were honestly stating what you would need salary wise. I think any opportunity to interview is a good opportunity to hone my skills.
Ultimately you have enough program in you to determine what is right for you!
3rd interview went well. Hrm. Risky, but a challenge. I have feeling they will offer it to me at 10k more. Will ask for 15. Still internally debating. This will be a challenge to build up this rehab. I laid it all out in the interview today. How to expand, ensure quality of care, reduce people leaving AMA...I used to love having a job I could do in my sleep. Not so much now.
((Mark)) Great News I love it. Prayers for guidance never go unanswered so I am praying that your HP guides you to make the most postive choice for your career.
Don't ever question with what esteem you are held on this board.
As of now, there have been more viewings of this thread than of the one about "The Affair of the Scottish Mouse," which I think we could use as a benchmark.
