So I sold my van when I moved and that was about what .. 5 months ago.  I gave all of the necessary paperwork I did not have a title to the van (I lost it) I had my STBAX, my self and the woman who bought sign what I was given from the DMV.  Fast forward 2-3 months into that mess I am contacted saying she needs a POA signed .. ok fine .. I was able to have STBAX and myself sign it and it was done.  Or so I thought .. fast forward to today .. well .. what do you know I now need to sign MORE paperwork at this point it's becoming ridiculous .. there is NO reason the van should be still in my name .. I am NOT pleased. 

I'm dealing with more than one issue at this point .. first one being I am taking the STBAX to jail if he forged my name on the title of the truck .. at this point no ownership has changed and I am able to check electronically .. thank you Jesus I have the dang VIN number ditto on the van.  I do not want to get into a situation where I sign first and these people sign .. I don't trust them .. they actually work for my old landlord who is in the middle of a nasty divorce (yes, the drama tends to follow ugh!) I do not like this man.  AT ALL .. he is a creeper big time.  I do like his wife and always felt sorry for her.  She's Vietnamese and an extremely interesting woman.  I tell her all the time I have no idea how she got the dolt she did for a husband I think he's got some drug and sex addiction issues just based upon his behavior it's creepy!!!  

So this woman is suppose to come to my office tomorrow and have me sign paperwork .. honestly .. I'm going to ask her for copies and then I'm taking it to the DMV to find out what it is and ask questions about what  is going on.  I will sign as soon as the STBAX has signed and not a min before that I'm also going to have her sign and have notarized a letter that basically states she's no longer coming back to me with this kind of thing.  If it happens she will have to wait until I'm officially divorced before I get a copy of the title and just sign that over to her.  I am NOT going to pay 100$ for something that none of us had to pay. 

I will let her know that tonight I guess that she will need to contact STBAX get that signed and so on. 

UGH .. it shouldn't be like this .. I mean we signed a power of atty .. good grief .. what more do these people need?

I will never sell another car without doing it at the DMV again.
