is named Liam...some of you ladies love that name I've seen and this one is just two hour old right now...2800 miles away and still in our hearts as we have been waiting. He is our 5th great grand-child!! and I've already put in my request that he escape this family disease. Asking for pictures cause when I think of the name an older guy comes to mind who acts like other people? Hmmmm. (((((hugs)))))
Congratulations, Jerry. Perhaps your thoughts, prayers and healing have cracked open some spaces in the disease for light. I hope you get a picture soon to change that mind picture
Oh I can't wait for that name to register with certain persons hereabouts!! Many congratulations Jerry, I'm wishing little Liam a wondrous and beautiful life.
LIAM!!!!!!!!! I love that name, LIAM! I love babies, too. Congratulations on being the proud grandparents of a healthy, baby boy. May he stay well and unscathed by the disease and may he carry his family's name and cultural blessings with dignity and with pride in his ancestry and in the legacy that has been offered him through the learnings, leanings and healthy choices of those who went before him and pass it all on with some of his own learnings, leanings and healthy choices to those family members who will come after him.
(And good gravy! What smart, smart parents he has. Naming him the same name as a tall, handsome Irishman who brings so much joy and entertainment and soul searching opportunity to so many.)
Lol, haha, thats so nice, congratulations grandad. The onky other liam I know, except gratefuls liam is liam gallacher from oasis, a band from the 90s. If I think of others il let you know. Is it a scottish name?
David I look at that picture and I want to play too!! What a miracle to rediscover the child inside and find that he never left...got lost a little and hid in fear some and never left. Are these your grandchildren? Beautiful.!!
I understand that the name Liam is irish and it means 'protector' or 'Guardian'. It has the same derivative as the name William. For the likes of Grateful and I it also means long legs and oodles of charm!
My goodness David, what wonderful bundles of energy your grand children are. Lovely picture.
Now, MW, I love that name even more - knowing its meaning. Jerry! Again I say, your grandchildren are very, very smart in naming their son Liam. I hope that you and your wife will be able to meet him face to face one day. Congratulations again.
Autographs being given after his nap...of course. This is Liam...Number 5 and I just realized he is doing a "selfie". Already technically adept though I don't think he dressed himself. I would have wore the 49er blankie and cap that GGma and GGpa got him...well wouldn't you? He is already home wanting to know where the refrigerator is no doubt. ((((hugs))))
Oh, Jerry! How precious and how touching this newborn baby is to see this morning. They look so vulnerable, so innocent, so powerless and yet these little ones can bring the tallest and strongest of us to our knees to love them, care for them, feed them, diaper them and help them feel comfortable and happy. Beautiful, beautiful reminder that HP isn't finished with humanity.
Welcome to the world, precious baby boy. May you be all you are meant to be and may you know just how loved and how wondrous you are.
