Question for my 11 year old daughter

My husband, Her father, has been in rehab for 7 days. I have attended a few al anon meetings during that time. She really wants to go to alateen, the first available meeting is Monday night. There is an al anon meeting this morning that I want to attend, and she asked if she can go. Would that be appropriate? Or should I have her wait until tomorrow.  She is very eager to get help too...

thoughts? Thank you.

This is a good question. Usually meetings will list if "Children are welcome" or not. Call intergroup or another member if you are unsure.

If you are unable to receive an answer, I would bring her along and if she is not welcome, usually there is a room to the side of the meeting where she can sit and wait. Good luck
