Tired...very...from watching the track to see if it will lessen or turn which it has not so I got about an hour and a half and then went to check on my grand-daughters and great-grandsons to make sure they have alternate plans which also includes my house if they need. Woke up to 45+mph wind burst and hammering rain that I know was just a drizzle compared to what I've seen since birth...thank God/Akua I am on very very solid ground. The wind expectation is 95 miles to 109 miles per hour so I've got to go out and secure some stuff that can fly. I've got no option about my roof taking off...just your prayers. My pups are already anxious because they can sense conditions and I don't have yet a concoction which can level them off. Was thinking about diluting a night time pain reliever in their drinking water...No strong just hopefully enough. You can lead me on this Deb...its got to be over the counter and I've got some stuff here. Two of the men in my family...son and son-in-law are WORKING???!!! I hope that doesn't come from my genes or dna. Pissed and powerless and knowing that I've been wrong in the pass especially where HP has been involved.
So going to do some readjustments and hold my MIP family in my heart and spirit. Mahalo for your Aloha. (((((hugs)))))

Family you are awesome especially at this moment. I was thinking of making a run to the outskirts of this storm so that on angle it would pass us more quickly and then I checked the weather news and Iselle has dropped her approach speed to 14 mph from 17 and her sustained reported winds are 20 miles per hour less. You guys and gals pray good...HP surely is listening. I've secured about everything I can see that will fly at 95 miles per hour and brought other stuff in our of the atmosphere. I got plants that will take the hit and I love my plants and then I'm staying with them. The decrease in speed means that instead of 2pm hit time their talking 10PM tonight...no light...darkness and HP works just as well anyway huh? We're powerless...HP isn't...HP is cunning, baffling and powerful. Will advise. (((((HUGS)))))...
Maybe it was okay then that son and son-in-law worked today? It's about noon your time? So, maybe they'll get home before the big storms hit? Lots of prayers for them and their families, too.
We have both Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa working against it both are over 13000 feet tall so well see what happens. Just was outside to chain my potted Norfolk Pine in an upright position and it took about 10 seconds to drench me. Right now the wind gust are up to above sixty and some of my favorite plants are gonna go down if not for a miracle. I am about 100 miles of the eye of it yet when outside I could look up and see it circling above me clockwise. Its shaking power lines also and the rain is going horizontal. Windows open to reduce pressure. My steps are done for now. (((hugs)))
It is morning here in Italy Jerry and you and your people are in my thoughts.
What an amazing thing to see, the sky circling. I hope you are safely inside now and taking care. Prayers and positive thoughts.
Grateful we are going thru Iselle and have been for hours and still the eye of it is 65 70 miles away...We are eerily calm right now and the weather gurus are saying its a matter of minutes before 60+ miles and hour winds and tropical rain and thunderstorms will be here for hours...Julio is right behind her so were going thru one still with the possibility of the other following up. I can see movement starting to happen and will try to get some pictures of it without being swept across the land.
they can have valuim if you have that. but not much. better to not do much. benadryl also is a good one.
Jerry the key to them is do not act like it is any big deal. Do not reassure them or act different. We just had major lightening and thunder. My three new tiny ones looked at me, and the other dogs, we were not reacting so they didn't.
Its when humans make a big deal of it that they think it is one.
YES will keep you all in my prayers. That is heavy duty weather. I think I would have to have a shelter of some kind or make part of the house super sturdy. Please keep us updated as much as you can.
Do you have emergency stuff ready?? Make sure you have collars and leashes on the dogs.Just keep them close. I think I would have everyone between two mattresses! I love rough weather if one is safe!
sending love!! debilyn

Can't sleep. It's 1:10 a.m. here, so I'll be taking some of the "night watch" from this part of the country in prayer for all. We're watching the weather there on TV and internet here, too. As you know, you're not alone.
