program? We got one that missed to the South West and two more coming almost straight into Hilo. Iselle will be here soon with Julio right behind as a tropical storm. Both are winding down and still I woke up to the sun and now its gone...gonna get dark, very windy and very rainy soon. Day off today so gonna fell one more section of my bountiful avocado tree which was sooooo good to my self and neighborhood this year. Yes I'll hug the tree...Al-Anon hug. Damn Hurricaneaholic anyways!! Puppers will be okay and population seems to be moving as usual...I think of the homeless and how they will fare and turn it over to my HP. Its temporary (thanks Don T...former sponsor).
I'll come by again and read (always) as the time moves on. Keep the light on for me and keep the support up for each other and the ones to come. Aloha No MIP Ohana...A Hui Ho!! (((((na puluki)))))
Much love and many prayers for you, your family and all who are facing the coming of the storms. We'll certainly keep the light on for you, Jerry, and our prayers coming. (((J, family, pups, homeless, infirm, frightened, and the rest of the population))) Words of a song by Jamie Richert - addict in recovery - "Stand your ground, God is watching. Stand your ground against the night. Til the darkness passes over, stand your ground." May the peace that passes all understanding guard your hearts and your minds until this temporary storm passes over.
Take care of your Big Island, Jerry. I will be there next month. My favorite place to be. I will try to find the webcam that looks into Hilo harbor... it was put there for tsunami watch.
LOL...I love you gals too...okay guys also. Got my hopes up that it was spinning down to a tropical storm and fingers were crossed maybe a bit too tight cause the counter guy where I went to buy some lunch said it accelerated back up to stage 1...95mph winds...will my roof handle that? hmmmm and rains with thunder storms. Gonna have to cuddle my little girls cause they don't like the flash and drumming. Rains? I've seen up to 27 inches in 24 hours and my house sits over a large lava foundation...ancient one so it isn't gonna wash out anytime soon. Avocado tree is down, poor girl and yet she gave me 5 hidden fruit for the effort...gotta run to the hardware store...no not for bread...for some insurance parts. Funny was inventorying my denial level and found it high so with just under 24 hours left I better start "acting as if" huh? Thanks for the prayers cause the hope level is up there...above a 10. I'm centered and feeling acceptance tho the denial was hanging. Mahalo Again. (((((hugs)))))

With your tools Jerry, I'm sure you'll not only ride out the storm but also help others to get through it as well. Stay safe friend. Sending prayers and love to all on Big Island. Thinking of you all. ((((Hugs))))
Surf is expected to climb cliffs and shorelines up to 25 feet. I heard some surfers mouthing they were gonna do the big ones...LOL actually the Big Ones are gonna do them if they try getting out in it with this wind feature. Population control. lol
I only know of one reported person able to walk on water and calm storms. Perhaps the surfers are a bit confused? They'll be a bit more than that if they are really serious about doing the Big Ones - or they'll be written about one day, too? 25 feet? Wow! How are you feeling right now, Jerry? How are the pups doing?
Pups are calm sister thanks...as for me my expectations are of being brought thru this in the usual dynamic HP to Jerry F fashion. My HP loves to drop the drama with one- upmanship cause I use to try to out do HP often...we don't discuss consequences or perceptions. LOL I don't have to do anything anymore...just let it happen. Sounds like you?
HP decided to end it without a bunch of drama. It tried and it did cause some problems however it hit landfall and then decided to veer off, slow down and run back out to sea and is now diminishing. Hurricane Julio also made the decision to veer west no-west and for now isn't a concern and will have a latent affect so we can thank HP and go get some sleep. Grateful for the standing by...Love you all ((((hugs))))
That is some force field you've got there Jerry Beating back hurricanes is quite a feat!
Sleep tight and thank you for this opportunity to hurricane watch, its been interesting since apart from loving to weather watch I have been watching my motives here in sunny Italy. Thankfully I can admit to a whole lot of genuine care about my friend in Hawaii but there was also tiny bit of excitement in there as well. Oh shucks, progress not perfection Packed it up and put it to one side! I'm glad that things have calmed down and that you can get some well deserved rest and calm weather dreams. Great news about Julio as well.
Just goes to show that no matter how much we try to graph, chart, predict - we never know what will happen until it happens. Good lesson for me to ponder today, Jerry of Hilo who is resting! Whew!!!!!!
I am glad you are safe Jerry F, and as you know I have a quirky mind that thinks along different lines to people most times, I thought how you live in such a beautiful part of the world but yet still at a price, thats life isn't it, in all it's glory the good bad and the ugly, yet I am sure you would never want to be anywhere else, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Katy you hit me right in the pu`uwai...my heart. You were perfect. YES!! this is my home, my birth place our Makana O ke Akua...gift from God. I've been other places in body and no where else in heart, mind, soul and spirit. Hawaii is culture just as Al-Anon is...the culture of unconditional love and giving and holding up and more. I mahalo (thank) you for that as I always love the jolt of deep gratitude for where I was placed. ((((hugs))))
Cathy where in Arizona is that? lol
