RE: Look what I found.

Really?  Well that sounds just wonderful!  I hope my malaria doesn't flare up.

Thank you, Melly!  This type of malaria, however, is resistant to tonics.  It does respond well to raspberry smoothies and dark chocolate with almonds.  No, really!  This is very, very true.  (She turns and covers the cats' ears with her hands.)

Mel...get some avocado and put it in the blender with some soymilk.  The kind of avocadoes I have, have a very nice pale sweet final taste and I will enhance that just a bit with a small pack of sweetener.  Puree it in the blender and it will result in a mouse (moose) consistency and put that in the refrigerator to chill.  After it is chilled put some in a bowl to enjoy and add raisons or dark chocolate chips for grins.  Darn good and also good for you.   Just made a batch and added some papaya...hmmmmm going to like it more when its ready.   Try it you'll like it.  (((hugs))) smile

That's a "golden avocado"?  When you get to your next or permanent resident...plant your own tree with the type/kind you like and save the bucks.  My tree is a Yamane (Yah mah nay) and I got it by luck...shoulda been something else by HP had other plans and this bugger is hefty and heavy...over a pound a piece.  One of my clients has another type which is growing wild...smaller, just buttery, easier to handle and mix around.  Not as good for the mouse and great with spreads and combinations.  Get yer own tree young lady.   ((((hugs))))  smile

I believe it's not warm enough for them to grow down here, hence the expense. I could try though

4.00 for an avocado...horrible. Avocados in any smoothie make them creamy....as does green peas...love both...

No wonder the board is so quiet, everyone is here! lol (C:

oh mel you just reminded me about this great mango stuff that was chewy and sooo good I can no longer find. I bet I could get some fresh ones, cookem up and make my own pastie yummy things. mix with dates. OHHH dates and cream cheese are to die for.

avacados are so good for you. You would be so popular here with your natural way of making good things. I bet you could market your things here. I can see now why you make money doing it there!

We need more genuine, alternative, creative people like you! Wanna move to Oregon??? (c: I have five acres, an empty barn, beautiful view, can have as many animals as you want!! Nice big area for you and cutie and critters!!! Private too! so mellow and healing here!

hugs!

I still say you are so delightful!

Oh I just saw you said Jerry should build a raft. Hawaii is on my way to Oregon, I'll pick him up. How many people do I need to allow for? I'd better get busy! I watched Noah the other night so I think I know how to build a biggish one
