Busy at work but it feels good. Little hot outside now....110 degrees but I have AC The well man came and it's the pump. 3500 to replace so I'm happy we still have water.

Thanks for the up date Catherine. I am glad that you have water and that there is a workable solution. It sounds as if the cost is a little high but I am glad you are happy and on your way to a meeting
Thanks for the update. $3500 for a pump????? Oh, my! But, its worth the money if one wants water - especially in 110 degrees. It's 65 here today with no humidity. Tomorrow, it will be warmer and I have to say, I sure prefer this over winter. Yuck. I do think I'll have to pull out an afghan, however. I am feeling just a tad bit chilly. Grin. (((C))) Happy meeting night.

Thank you all.... What's good about the well is that I share it with 3 other households and we each pay more than the electric bill each month into a savings account so the money is there when something go's wrong with the well. No out of pocket for anyone.... we are grateful.

Well just found out the whole well has to be replaced so now it's 5 grand.....gulp!!! I still have to be grateful that well was not dry or we would be looking at 10 grand or more.

so much better than a week! Thanks for teaching me about wells, pumps and their costs. Wow! I'm just glad you can get it all fixed and will have water.
