OK friends. I have a small request.

On June 26th 2014 at 11:05am- Australian Eastern Standard time- I will be undertaking the probationary drivers license test. 

I'm sure everyone knows how important this is to me so, I was hoping I could ask everyone a little favour. If everyone could arrange to take this day off work, and if possible a few days prior, and spend the time praying, chanting and lighting candles for my successful completion of this test, I would be very appreciative. Fasting for a few days might not hurt either; I hear it really focuses the spiritual energy

lol.

I've paid for it now so I'd better bloody pass it!!! I'm quite excited, really.

You'll pass it, Melly. This is more than a driver's license test to my way of seeing. It is taking the wheel of your own life back and choosing to go wherever your HP leads. Nothing can stop you. I believe in you and I believe in your HP. I'll be cheering you on from across the ocean.

Thanks, Guys. It does feel like a great deal more than just a drivers license test to me too. And if my nerves get me and I stuff it up (not impossible) I'll just do it again. It's the fact that I'm actually DOING it that is exciting

I know you'll get your provisional license. You are on your way. If it doesn't happen on June 26, it will be just a little later. It won't matter when you get it.

Since I'm in Italy, where the power of pray keeps many a driver safe no matter how crazy their driving is, I feel well placed to give you tons of support - might even see if we can make it a national holiday of it here - just for this one year mind you!
I've got lots of confidence that you will do well - how exciting!

Oh now slaughtering a lamb won't do, I'm a strict vegetarian these days. But burning offerings of grain would be acceptable! And a national holiday in Italy too...this is all sounding great, I knew I could count on you guys

Uh, hey, uh, Melly, on that last post, I almost had the tickets bought to come down there and make sure you know how to parallel park. But then I checked with my F2F group, and they said that I should just wish you well and pray for you, that you are perfectly capable of passing that test yourself, they were afraid I might have some kind of codependency thing going on.  winkbiggrin

God I wouldn't take a driving test with this lot in the back seat...the laughing alone would put me into an open field up against the one tree that was there for ages. Kill the fear of, before you go and if you have already been practicing and getting it right...duplicate that.  If the inspector or tester starts to talk with you during a movement tell that person "be quiet I must do this safely"...(you can that's impressive as hell on them)    Yes you can do it M...yes you can...I'll be ordering some mutton from Kenny to go with my chutney.     LOL  this family is nuts!!   I love you all.    (((((hugs))))) biggrin
