A big thank you goes out to everyone who made a donation to help pay for 2 years coverage on our web hosting and domain address!  The total donated in the past 48 hours is 323.52.  275.00 was needed to cover our web site hosting and domain name registration (12stepforums.net) for 2 years.  This leaves us a balance of 48.52 which I will use to cover our message boards for the next 6 months.  Members from all the groups on MIP helped make this possible.  I did not post the request for donations on the Family Teens board or Healingroom board, due to their complete lack of activity on the site for the past 2 years.Which is going to result in my removing their material from the site soon, in order to be able to focus on the groups that are active as I upgrade the site more this year.  Donations came in from the AA, Al-Anon, Adult Children, and Narcotics Anonymous group members.

Again, if you made a donation, big kudo's are being sent your way from me, as your help means so much to me and relieves me of having to carry the cost of the site alone.  Now, if you haven't made a donation, don't let this post stand in your way. Send your donation when you can for the amount you can. All donations from MIP members via PayPal are marked by group affiliation, as reflected on your receipt and is earmarked for only site use.   It is my hope that one day there will be enough surplus funding to pay for our site to be professionally built using todays technology, instead of my own old skill level out of the 1980's.  LOL  Until then, I will keep plugging along and doing the best I can to upgrade our site and keep it user friendly, easily found on search engines, and as functional for groups as possible.
