Happy Mother's Day All

I had a internet visit with my son this afternoon and he told me he will be sentenced on June 9th.  So anyways we continued to chat then it came.....

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MOM....I LOVE YOU AND SORRY I CAN'T BE WITH YOU.

I told him thank you and it was the best gift he could have gotten me just to acknowledge to me what day it was. 

It was the best because for the past 3-4 years I never even heard from him because of his drinking. 

One more thing to be grateful for.....my son sober and wishing me a happy day.

 VERY good to read this.......I am sure he loves you, however its the disease thats trying to block that love....when he can get past it enough to get in an "i love you" i am glad you can take it for what it is and cherish it....
