The interview

The trip was great. I was nervous at the interview but I did my best and they will let me know if I am hired. She asked me why I was moving so far from home. I told the truth I said I was getting divorced and I was looking for a fresh start and that I had always wanted to live in a big city. I told her I did the application and left the rest up to HP. I know HP can be a touchy subject at a workplace. But I am not the same I am transforming into a better me and part of me includes HP. She seemed to like my honesty. They are still interviewing the rest of the week so I will find out if I'm hired or not next week. If I'm hired great if I am not hired then that's OK too. It was a great experience and road trip :) My alanon friend and I had a relaxing time. Since I have been separated from my ah since Dec my life is different. I am more at ease and my little apt is quiet. She is still living with her active ah she said she loved the quietness and she got to relax. I'm so grateful she went with me. I am grateful to program and all the Alanon members :)

Sounds like you got a lot more from the trip than just an interview.  You sound very grateful for some wonderful gifts came from the experience.  You can be very proud that you made the trip and feel you did your best.  It was nice that you had moral support from a friend and it was a fun roadtrip.  Now just like you mentioned, it's in your hp's hands - it's a wait and see thing.  Maybe it was about the job maybe it was about building a feeling of more independence and confidence for any even better opportunity that hp has in store for you.  Hp could even sent you to impact someone else's life journey but sometimes these things aren't revealed to us.  Either way, if the job and move is mean't for you, it'll be yours. Thanks for sharing your news.  One more positive experience to take with me today!   Keep us updated.  Best of luck :)   TT
