Hi Everyone,

My name is slogan_jim and I am a grateful member of al-anon.

I have decided that in order to save some money for my home purchase I will take my dad upon his offer and live with him while I search. I feel it's best for me and my needs.

I don't know what to think. I am nervous, but I have the tools to deal with it. I have the power of decision and the power to stand up for myself.

I will definitely keep coming back.

It's good to be going into things with the new tools and new awareness.  That can make all the difference.

Do you also have a Plan B for if things go south?  Sometimes just having a Plan B helps keep things calm, even if you never use it.

Keep on taking good care of yourself!

I hope things go well, or that you are able to keep your serenity as much as possible. I like Mattie's idea of Plan B, just to take the pressure off of perfection, a bit.

Your Father is in recovery? Are you being deluded?
