You are a Buddha El-Cee, anyone that is awakened to their highest potential is a Buddha. Alanon and my Buddhist practice helps me do that.

This is so true and me being scared not know what might happen keeps me hidden and not wanting to deal with it at all. I feel bad I'm doing this so I'm going to work really hard to except it and deal with it in the right way.

At this moment and place I needed the affirmation cause I was just thinking "Damn...Stop it!! and I was relating earlier some of my escapades...enabling escapades earlier in the day and when I was done it was hard even for me to acknowledge facing soooo many challenges". Enablers have challenges at all times. (((hugs))) smile

so true, Jerry.. Is it because we see suffering all around us and want to help and save people.? In Buddhism, that makes us Boddisatva's of the earth. Believe it or not , not all people are like some of us Alanoners. We are the ones with a mission.

Isnt that the highest form of compassion, as long as we do not get off balance and it makes us suffer too much I say.....
