Was Sitting Rereading some of earlier Post, Seems they Help me See Growth and What I need to Work on, Something I have Always Loved about Writting...
Just a Breif Update, HP has been Very Busy in my Grandkids Lives these Last 3wks since the Split, doing what HP Does... My Grandkids home is heated with Wood, it does have a Back up but not an Affordable one... So I Have been Praying to get time to Go Cut them some off our property, and well the Time Never showed up, but within 48hrs, my Uncle "Who NEVER Calls Me" Calls and ask if "We" myself & Family needed any Wood? I ask Why he would call & ask, and said I just knew ya had a fireplace, and I have Extra!!! I told him we were fine, but I knew someone that May Really be in Need! He Gladly delivered to Her Door... Both Gr.kids Wrestle Now, and Both Came home Last Week with Metals! First time the Little One Ever Competed... They were stoked... Our Son seems to be doing Ok as An Addict can, and it seems he & my DIL are at Least on Desent speaking terms "Finally" and the Kids seem to be Adjusting Well... Praising All My Love to HP! And All Of You for the Prayers
My Friend the Wren AKA MIL... Showed up once More a Couple Days Later, Same thing, Doors Closed, only this time I was IN My office and she Come Out of the Flower pot, but she didn't Scare me this Time, cause she was Just Sitting there Quietly watching Me! And I got up, chatted a bit, went across the Room, and again, she Bounced Graciously to the Door & Off She went... And the Wonderful thing ;) It was on HER Birthday :)
This Program, and My Work has really showed up this year I believe, I just Celebrated 5th Anniversary in my F2F Group, I'm Over 3 yrs Sober, and Now when Down... I Can at Least See UP!
I have Learned that Even at the Mist Of Pain & Sarrow, I make it, because I Choose to Get up Everyday, Thanking HP, that I get too, and Go to bed Every night Thanking HP Again, that I Got too be apart of yet another Day! I Choose whether I Put up with my Addicts, My A's, or ME! I Make a Choice Everyday, if I Participate in Others Peoples ISM, or Ick or If I Back away Slowly & Let them Deal with their Choices...
Currently I have been Struggling over a Family Vaca I Wanted to Surprize My Mom with this Yr. I Told My Other to Siblings LAST June, I would like for us to ALL Go, and Make this Something Special For Mom cause We have Never In Our Life EVER Went on a Family Vaca, even as Kids... We Couldn't Afford it! So Long Short I Told them I Needed to know at Thanksgiving Yes or No, and Wouldn't Need Deposit till April this Yr.. Well My ABro has been avoiding the Issue, I Forced an Answer and I knew before he openned his Mouth, what it would say... "Well Things are Little Tight right now! And We just Can't do it!" Now this Is a Respectable Answer I Suppose, but the "Judgemental" Old Me "WANTED" to Scream, (Well... You Buy a 30pack every other Day! Drop that Down to a 6pack since Last June & You would have the Money!) But I Didn't! I Instead Said, "Well Bro... I'm Sorry to Hear that! We Will Miss You & The Kids, maybe Next time!"
For ME! Thats GROWTH! lol So I Booked the Smaller Place, and Surprised My Momma with a Vaca In June this Yr! But, I'm also sitting in a Place where I know I Can Make All the Plans in the World, but it will be what it will be! I"m Just Grateful My Mom is Excited, and I Know God Willing, Those that Go will have a Wonderful Week!

Happy New Year. What a pleasure to read your posting and your thoughts. My how time flies. You are an inspiration. I to treasure life and am grateful every morning when I wake up and thank God every evening when I go to sleep. Is a true gift of this program to value life so dearly.
I smiled as I read your inner thoughts about your brothers decision and applauded you as you responded with courtesy and kind We have come a long way.
HP certainly works miracles even with delivering wood on time I hope you all enjoy your vacation summer. Keep us posted
Sometimes; like now, when you share you own my heart. It slows down and gets quiet because your spirit enters and like Betty's appreciation my heart feels the same way. I am grateful for my sister from a different mother...truely because you live in now is that other plane we often speak of...the spirit. Soooo grateful. HP knows you're special. (((((Hugs)))))
You two have been with Me From thee Very Start.. & Welp... I Couldn't be more Grateful for the Love & Support & Guidence you All So Graciously Gave me, in times of Tantrums, Triumphs, Struggles, Goals, Achievements, but Mainly GROWTH! You Both have been the Light! I have been So Privilaged to have, I Truly Couldn't do it without ya's .... You Both Helped Me Regain My Spirit, and for that I Will be Forever Grateful
