I know so many of you in the Northern hemisphere are enduring an extremely cold winter. So I thought I'd show you where I spent this afternoon, and where I will be spending most every afternoon for the rest of my daughters summer holidays

We probably would come to visit if there was enough de-icer for all the planes, but alas, there isn't. We're stuck in the snow, the ice, the bitter winds that blow. But! You just go out there and have fun. Don't worry about us little people. (Giggle)

Daughter and I are planning our first ever real holiday for winter 2015. A snow holiday of all things. I've never taken her on holiday before other than to my parents beach house. It will be a little holiday, whatever I can manage to save for and will require me to be driving....good things to work towards and look forward to!!
Loved the picture.... I could almost feel the breeze blowing through my hair. We will have spring soon.... well, in about 5 months..... ugh... Some day I will be living by the water, that stays water, year around!!
I grew up in Southern California and I could actually hear the waves crashing as I imagined my teen years laying on the beach. Awwww, enjoy it for all of us!

Now now Melly! That is just mean! We have been struggling though the winter from hades and it looks as if it is going to continue for several months yet. Hate winter!!
Melly! I probably would fly out, but I'm not sure I have the right haircut for it and planes won't be able to get me there. I hear say they've run out of de-icer.
