A few hours ago I stood in my garage and shouted at HP...you gotta stop this now...This was 36 hours of heavy rain and a lightning and thunder storm right over Hilo. "If it has no use...why do it"? an attempt to sponsor the HP that one was. Okay an hour or so later the rain and thunder and lightening are done...the ground is dry and the storm is standing off with fist on its hips and a smirk on its face threatening ...just for now and then...did I just feel an earth tremor...hmmmmm did I?!! My pups are down...unconscious in an almost catatonic state because of not being able to handle the hammering and light show...earth tremor?!! Does the serenity prayer work on these too? anybody? ((((MIP)))) at least we haven't been charged an admission fee...Oh and was that woman I woke up with this morning my wife? really? God grant me the serenity....

I sure HOPE the lady you woke up with is your wife, hahahahaha.....U R too funny!!!! I do the same thing at times to my HP.....I think I can esh HP and /or "show him/her a better way????"
I think HP would rather us "get in his/her face w/our ???S" then to diss HP.....HP has to be laughing WITH you as I am, lol......
tomorrow i sign up for my NEW fitness club....membership starts Jan 1, but I am gonna try to "weedle" a dunk , complimentary dunk in the pool, just for the heck of it........if i dont' ask, I will , for sure, not receive,
take care....and WOW...sounds like u had some pretty heavy weather.....we are just chilly here.....so far no bizarre weather....

I've done the same, Jerry, and sometimes I make a change that needs to be made and sometimes God does what I can't do, but S/He can. I think sincere prayers/psalms/songs are heard on high or in our hearts and a power greater than us does respond. We like to pass it off sometimes as coincidence, but I can't do that anymore. I do have to say that after my garage prayers, I don't wake up with your wife. There's only cats here. No dogs. My cats aren't afraid of thunder and light shows. So, there are a few differences between you and me. ((((J))))

Oh Cathy why didn't I think of that before...going outside to do it now cause the front is coming back in and it would be a good time to point North East toward Cathy towne....lets see if this will work....hold on. ((((hugs))))
Okay everybody!!!! Maybe we can help blow the storm Cathy's way? But, please, please oh mighty storm, bypass the east, the midwest and the south. Just keep your rain and wind to yourself until you get to Arizona. Okay? Blowingggggggggggggggggggggggg.
News is showing the flash flooding and sink holes which have swallowed a car (!!)...our house has started a good leak...hmmmm and the dogs are reading travel circulars...looking for CenVal desert areas or maybe even Arizona(?)...bridges are being washed out lights are flickering...I'll keep blowing. Oh, my gosh, Jerry. What a storm. I don't think I'd be able to keep my sense of humor about it as long as you've been able to do it. I love the dogs are reading travel circulars.!!!!!
Many, many prayers for everyone there. And - you already know there is room for your wife at my place and of course, you'd be very welcome, too. The dogs - wellllllll - my cats are not real dog lovers - but.......humans help humans and their pets, too. We'll figure out a way.
I've put in numerous complaints to HP about it being summer and not even hot enough for t-shirts so far. He/she has seen fit to give us "mild" summers every year since I moved to the beach...prior to that it was stinking hot summers in an inner city flat with no air-con for years...HP has a very unique sense of humour, no doubt about that....
Cathy I spoke tersely (lol) with my HP last evening (LOL) and said among other things that if it were me I would stop the shinanigans and end the rain down pour and send it to where it would be appreciated; namely Arizona and to your place...guess what...the down pour ebbed, fluttered and then died and we woke up to a more clear day this morning. Now I assumed that when I directed the path North East from Hilo that it would be getting to your place some time...now I'm beginning to think that North East from Hilo is different than North East from HP's place...You think?
S0000 Grateful it's been a clear day and I got almost all of my work done nicely because of it and then coming home from my last job I took a gander at the sun down sky and am now trying not to project more of that record setting weather we had yesterday. Looking at the cloud cam from Mauna Kea and I was amazed at the fury of the storm as seen from 13 k feet above sea level. We got monsoon type rain and of course also got the consequences...washed out road ways and yards and sink holes and stuff. One of my friends reported 5 inches of rain in an hour which I won't argue with...we wiped up the leaks and I'll have this roof replaced as soon as can. Clouding up...going to go outside and feed the doves and have another talk with my HP...thanks first and then more suggestions. LOL I'm sure HP just can't wait for what comes from me next. (((hugs)))
So glad to see you on the board. I was getting concerned. I know you're in loving hands and I still like to check in. Glad to hear that the worst of it is over now and you've had time to clean up the leaks and notice you get a new roof!!!!! I'm sure HP is looking forward to both your gratitude and your suggestions. Heck! If Yahweh listened to Moses and chose to change Yahweh's mind on wiping out the people thanks to Moses' intercession, whose to say God didn't hear you on the overabundance of rain?
I say on my surfboard today waiting my turn and talking to HP about the last decade and what I learned. Then I asked HP if the lessons were not over could they please for the love of HP be less abrasive. I then paddled for a wave rode it for a few glorious seconds before I promptly wiped out. So I guess that's HP's answer.
Did the lessons have anything to do with riding the board...or were they only about recovery? How did you recover from the wipeout...maybe that was what it was about hmmmmm? (((hugs)))
