Oh, and lol

Whilst walking the dog today, we passed the library and after reading a sign, my daughter started musing over the word "committee". She babbled about it all the way home and then asked me "what committees can you think of?" and I started to laugh and said "well, it's a bit naughty but all I can think of is something I read recently about the "itty bitty shitty committee" and she of course laughed her head off and wanted to know what it meant...I said "you know that negative voice in your head that is always saying "everything is hopeless, life is so unfair, everyone is so mean, what's the point" and she says.........

"No mum, that's your boyfriend".

lol. Funny kid

Good morning, Melly and el cee: So good to see you both here today. I hope your Christmas celebrations were filled with joy and peace for you both? I'm still at my daughter's apartment after a snow and slick roads kept me here another day. Her little toy dachschund (spelling?) is curled up next to me on a furry blanket. My grandson is sleeping. The morning is still quiet and the committee in my own head is quiet for now. Thanks for the reminder, Melly, that it can reconvene at any moment, especially given the let down that can often happen following holidays. (((M and el cee)))

Speaking of toy dogs, daughter wants a chihuahua from the chihuahua rescue mission. Well I am considering it; our big dog needs a little friend and I'm quite partial to them; I mentioned it to ABF and he said "I hate chihuahuas" so that settles it, I'm getting one!! lol.
Whilst at my parents I looked at what my sister has been doing to earn money while she is at uni- she is boarding a some small hutch-animals in the garage and also going to people's houses to feed/water/walk pets etc. I almost fell over when she told me how much money she was making. If I used ABF's room to board rabbits, guinea pigs etc I could make 3 times what he contributes in rent AND the room would smell a lot better....
Seriously considering this; daughter would love it too. Might be just what I need to get me through the rest of my uni course.

Wow! Wouldn't that be a wonderful thing? The ability to support yourself in a way that you'd enjoy?

Maybe something you seriously need to look into. You never know what will come of it. Won't hurt either.
