Cant log in as myself?

For some reason, when I log in as normal (Melly1248) it appears to have worked but as soon as I click on a post or on my messages or anything it logs me straight out and says I must log in to continue! It was working earlier!

It's working fine with this different username so it can't be a pc issue.

Clues, anyone?

What did you do to fix it, Melly? I have those problems, too, on occasion and they seem to disappear after a whole lot of key punching, writing John, reading technical problems, and a bibbity-bobbity-boo or two. I'm fairly certain my methods haven't really cleared up the problem for me.

I tried a few different things, G2B. I swore, I waved my hands around a bit and I said "well that's just bloody great" several times. I'm not sure which tactic resolved the problem in the end but it was one of them

Oh, golly. Melly, I don't want to hurt your feelings, but I doubt you or me will ever be hired as CEO of Microsoft.  (PS  - Oh, how you can make me laugh!!!)

For all we know, G2B, that's exactly how they get things done down at microsoft too.

Not sure Melly I checked and both "log ins" look active and with no evident difficulity.

I too experience this from time to time.  Shutting down the computer completely works for me

biggrin  I never thought of that, Melly!  You could be right!  You could be very right!!!!!   Well, then, bibbity-bobbity-boo is going to be used by me the very next time I have trouble on the site.  Who knows?  Maybe tech people have read that story, too, and use the same special words as they wave their wand over the computer?  Thanks so much for that grand idea!!  That they may solve tech problems as we do.  Gosh!  It is so good to know we're not alone - not even in tech website problems and the solving of them.

Great thread! Can we have an iphone thread like this? I am thinking apple doesn't respond like microsoft, because waving, cursing and turning the phone off doesn't work:(

John...LOL! I remember my son did that with a block of cheddar cheese, back in the good ole days of VHS! We actually took it to a repair guy, and he got the cheese out, everything looked beautiful, then he plugged it in......nobody knew that baby boy had also put a couple of pennies in there for his 2 cents worth....ZZZZTT!
ROFL! Good times.... biggrin
