My name is slogan_Jim and I am a grateful member of al-anon.
Recently, many things are starting to make sense. I am starting to understand them. Things from childhood, things that didn't make sense before. Why we lived in a big house but could never afford anything. Why my parents would send me off to school and I would begin to cry. How my father thinks. Why my mom acted the way she did, Is my mind clearer? Am I able to process things better? The program has taught me a lot through my sharings, other members' sharings, readings and other various service work.
I feel like things are starting to make some sense.
Once I came to understand Jim I could relax and accept...It was what it was and I'm still in the it is what it is with a new set of glasses. I didn't have much of a chance back then because I didn't know and didn't' know that I didn't know and now with the help of the program and I do know and best yet I know what I can/will do with it if anything. I'm happy for you, cause for me this was the real growth period the point where my sponsorship held up the lanterns that illuminated the trail both from where I came, where I was standing and into the future if I care to stay on that trail. Freedom comes now along with awesome growth and then the changes which make up the miracle. Don't mind me for watching cause I just love miracles. (((((hugs)))))
