oh yea, I am grinning reading this.....i used to give and give and give, b/c i soo wanted to be loved and accepted.....now i have tempered that a lot........i enjoy giving, but i take care of me first and give only if it is from my heart..........
i am smiling thinking of the takers that i know who , yea, have no limits on their taking.....LOL...spot on, Irma Kurtz.......I like your little "food for thought" thingys, Bettina....and this one i needed to see.....

Have realized a bit too late ...that giving to someone who values little is enabeling....oh how sorry I am for so many of my good intentions, i created dependent, careless,and irresponsible adults .it was my intention to do just the opposite....my heart aches for who they have become...and who they could have been.
