My new avatar is just for me and a reminder about open perceptions and how the program works in so many many ways.  That little Mo`o or lizard is a Madagascar which have become way to numerous in a short period of time on the east shore of Hawaii island and my village of Hilo. My office is a garden and I tend it as if I am working with God art.  For me it is God art.  I cannot and will not ever be able to created the creatures in the office either insect, animal or plant, and so I am just one of them cause I am, I believe, part of God art.  My head and thinking have been raging as my PTSD especially about the assault of 2011 has taken over.  It gets loud and noise and insane and the two sides of my personality wage battle on expectations and outcomes.  That affects my work in my office...more how I do it rather than what I do.  So yesterday  morning before I went to work I said my version of the 3rd step prayer "place me where you want me...tell me what to do" and then left.  I had not slept well of course and so I was tired and impatient and grumpy...I don't like that and felt I was doomed in it the rest of the day.  I stopped at the fountain for a drink and as I went to press the tap to get the water this tiny Madagascar jumped up on my hand.  They are so soft and so light it is hard to feel their presence and then there he was (or she) and it stayed on the back of my hand fully trusting and just watched me with its large dark eyes.  I will talk to them and so said "Good Morning Mo`o...How are you doing?  Would you like me to bring you to a special place"? No. each time I attempted to put it on a leaf it walked farther up the back of my hand and wrist.  Didn't feel a thing yet it was there...just like my Higher Power and so I started getting the message...I'm never alone and often I won't feel it.  Finally he took the leaf and I walked down to another section to do some work and as I reached out to trim a plant another Mo`o, a bit bigger and just as light and soft landed on the same area of my hand.  "I just had your brother with me Mo`o, what can I do for you"? and then it wasn't what I could do it was what was being done for me.  My tension left and calm and serenity returned which is exactly the condition my Higher Power has always wanted my spirit to be in.  HP has used St. Francis of Assissi doves to do the same thing before and I get/got the message.  Peace of mind and serenity is the blessing...it is the atmosphere where HP can reach and touch me however lightly.  I no longer doubt I now just smile.  These little guys will just stay and stare and watch you very calmly.  It works perfectly right down the middle of my culture.
