By Joani Gammill...My wife just got me an early birthday present...two parts; one this book which I want to say if you have it or have read it or don't and haven't...the first 15 pages speak from inside of the addict and alcoholic.   Of course she knows...she is a recovering addict; female, mom, RN, wife etc., and while I was reading those pages her voice was coming from inside of me...my spirit, my memories.  I was an interventionist in a rehab and I know this disease.  She gives clarity to what the addict and alcoholic go thru and if you keep an open mind you will find greater understanding.   I also got a recovery chip with  "Higher Power" on one side and a recovering slogan on the other.  "If God brings you to it, God will God will bring you thru it".   Another truth.   (((((hugs))))) smile
